The Antibodies.com polyclonal antibody to HIF1AN (Factor Inhibiting HIF-1, also called FIH-1) is raised in rabbit and supplied unconjugated in a 100 µl vial. HIF1AN is an asparaginyl hydroxylase that catalyzes hydroxylation of Asn803 on HIF-1alpha, restraining HIF-1 transcriptional output under normoxic oxygen and contributing to mammalian oxygen-sensing control. The reagent reacts with the endogenous target in human, mouse, and rat samples and is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation, and chromatin immunoprecipitation workflows.

Working dilutions commonly start near 1 µg/mL for western blot applications and should be titrated against each lysate or fixation preparation. Store refrigerated at 4 degrees C and protect from light; aliquot on receipt to limit freeze-thaw cycles. The polyclonal format presents epitope diversity across the HIF1AN sequence, supporting studies of post-translational hydroxylation dynamics, von Hippel-Lindau pathway crosstalk, and hypoxia response element occupancy in cancer biology, angiogenesis, and cell signaling research. For research use only.
