Anti-HGS Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com as a research-grade primary antibody, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets the HGS protein (also known as Hepatocyte growth factor-regulated tyrosine kinase substrate, HRS, or Protein pp110). The antibody was raised against a synthesized peptide derived from an internal region of human HGS and has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen. It is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µl volume, formulated as Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. The conjugate is unconjugated, the host is rabbit, the clonality is polyclonal, and the isotype is IgG, allowing straightforward secondary detection or direct downstream labelling. Validation applications include Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunocytochemistry / immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and the reagent has been shown to detect endogenous levels of total HGS protein across human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting broad cross-species use in cell biology and signalling research. For handling, vials are shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt they should be aliquoted and stored at -20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve antibody integrity.
