Anti-HFE2 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody targeting Hemojuvelin (HFE2), supplied by Antibodies.com. The antibody is unconjugated, of isotype IgG, and is validated for Western blot (WB) applications. It reacts with mouse and rat samples and is recommended for WB at dilutions of 1:500–1:2,000 [S1,S3].

The product is provided as a liquid, affinity-purified preparation. The molecular weight of the target is reported as 52 kDa. The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 205–400 of human HFE2 (NP_998818.1). The antibody is formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles [S1,S3].
