This polyclonal antibody recognizes HEXIM1 (HMBA-inducible protein 1), the transcriptional regulator that sequesters P-TEFb within an inactive 7SK snRNP complex to govern RNA polymerase II elongation. Produced in rabbit and affinity-purified against recombinant human HEXIM1, the reagent detects the endogenous target band in western blot, supports clear nuclear and cytoplasmic immunofluorescence staining in fixed cells, and produces specific chromogenic signals in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections during immunohistochemistry.
