Anti-HERPUD1 Antibody

Polyclonal antibody targeting HERPUD1, an endoplasmic reticulum stress-responsive protein that participates in the unfolded protein response and ER-associated degradation. Raised in rabbit and validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples, this unconjugated reagent is supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant.

The antibody recognizes endogenous HERPUD1 (also known as HERP or MIF1) and supports research into proteostasis, calcium homeostasis, and the cellular response to accumulated misfolded protein. Investigators studying neurodegeneration, ischemic injury, or tumor biology can apply it to detect HERPUD1 induction following ER stress triggers such as tunicamycin or thapsigargin in cell culture lysates and in fixed tissue sections.
