Anti-Herpes Simplex Virus 2 (HSV 2-gG) Antibody

A mouse monoclonal IVD antibody from Antibodies.com, raised against Herpes Simplex Virus 2 glycoprotein G (HSV 2-gG). The reagent is purified, unconjugated, and of the IgG1, kappa isotype, with reported purity exceeding 95%. It is formulated in 10 mM Phosphate Buffered Saline at pH 7.4, and specificity is directed to the gG protein target.

Validated applications include ELISA, Western blot (WB), and immunofluorescence (IFA / ICC/IF). The antibody is shipped at 4 °C; for short-term storage of less than two weeks it should be kept at 4 °C, while for longer-term storage it should be aliquoted and held at -20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
