Anti-HER2 Antibody

Offered through Antibodies.com as a primary antibody reagent, this Mouse monoclonal antibody is raised against the ErbB-2 / HER-2 oncoprotein and detects endogenous HER2 levels in human, mouse, and rat sample preparations. The unconjugated reagent is supplied as a 50 µL aliquot at a working concentration of 1 mg/mL, and is validated for Western blot (recommended dilution around 1:4000 on samples such as HeLa lysate and mouse brain) and for immunohistochemistry (used at approximately 1:200 on human breast cancer tissue). The antibody is purified by affinity chromatography from antiserum and is formulated in PBS at pH 7.4 with 0.02% sodium azide as preservative and 50% glycerol as cryoprotectant, allowing short-term handling at 4 °C and long-term storage at –20 °C while avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Because it is a monoclonal raised in Mouse and provided without any fluorophore or enzyme tag, it is well suited for laboratories that need a flexible detection step, with secondary reagents chosen by the user.
