Anti-HER2 (Ab-1221 / 1222) Antibody

Raised in rabbit against a synthetic peptide spanning residues 1219–1224 (N-L-Y-Y-W) of human HER2, this affinity-purified polyclonal IgG reagent targets total ErbB2 / HER2 protein and is unconjugated for flexible assay design. Distributed through Antibodies.com as a 50 µL primary antibody pack, it is supplied as a liquid in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02 % sodium azide and 50 % glycerol, at a working concentration of 1 mg/mL. The antibody is validated for Western blot (1:500–1:1000), immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections (1:50–1:100) and immunofluorescence (1:100–1:200), and it reacts with human ErbB2/HER2 with a predicted molecular weight near185 kDa. The host species is rabbit, the clonality is polyclonal, the isotype is IgG, and the conjugate is unconjugated. For best stability, aliquot and store the vial at –20 °C; short-term storage at 4 °C is acceptable for up to six months, and repeated freeze–thaw cycles should be avoided.
