Anti-Hepatits E Virus ORF3 Antibody [S-13]

A mouse monoclonal antibody [S-13] from Antibodies.com targets the ORF3 region of Hepatitis E Virus and is validated for use in ELISA. The unconjugated IgM reagent reacts with human hepatitis E virus and is supplied as a lyophilised preparation purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.

Its immunogen is a highly antigenic polypeptide of at least 30 amino acids encoded by the ORF3 region of a Chinese HEV strain. Cross-reactivity testing shows the antibody does not recognise HCV-S, HCV-NS3 or HCV-NS4. The epitope is reported as Sp2/0-Ag14.

Storage instructions advise shipment at 4°C, aliquoting on delivery and storage at -20°C, with avoidance of freeze/thaw cycles. Reconstitution is carried out using double distilled water, and the working concentration is described as reconstitution dependent.
