Anti-Hepatits E Virus ORF2 Antibody [2H2]

Mouse monoclonal [2H2] antibody from Antibodies.com, raised against Hepatitis E Virus ORF2. The antibody is of the IgG1 isotype, unconjugated, and validated for ELISA applications, with reactivity reported against human hepatitis E virus. It is supplied in lyophilised form for reconstitution with double distilled water, with concentration described as reconstitution dependent.

The immunogen is a highly antigenic polypeptide of 36 amino acids encoded by the ORF2 region of a Chinese HEV strain, and the antibody is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. For storage, the product is shipped at 4°C and, upon delivery, aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided. The reported epitope is Sp2/0-Ag14.
