Anti-Hepatitis C Virus NS5b protein Antibody (FITC) [NS5B-6]

This Antibodies.com monoclonal antibody (clone NS5B-6) targets the NS5B RNA-dependent RNA polymerase of Hepatitis C virus, a ~65 kDa non-structural protein that drives viral genome replication within the host cell. Conjugated to FITC, the reagent enables direct fluorescence readout in immunofluorescence, Western blot, and ELISA workflows, removing the need for a labeled secondary antibody in compatible assays.

Each vial contains 50 µg of liquid antibody in a mouse IgG2b format, validated for reactivity against HCV. Recommended handling is storage at -20 °C in frozen aliquots to preserve activity, with protection from light to maintain the integrity of the FITC fluorophore. Brief centrifugation of the vial prior to opening recovers any solution that may have migrated into the cap during shipment, and repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided.
