Anti-Hepatitis C Virus NS5b Antibody [NS5B-6]

The Antibodies.com NS5B-6 monoclonal antibody specifically recognizes the NS5b RNA-dependent RNA polymerase of Hepatitis C Virus, a ~66 kDa non-structural protein that catalyzes viral genome replication and is a validated target in antiviral research.

Produced as a mouse IgG2b and supplied unconjugated in liquid form, this reagent is suited for western blot, immunofluorescence, and ELISA workflows probing HCV-infected samples. Because NS5b is the molecular target of nucleoside analog inhibitors such as sofosbuvir, the NS5B-6 clone is commonly used to track polymerase expression in transfected or infected cell lysates, map replication complexes by IF, and develop serology assays specific for the polymerase region.
