Anti-Hepatitis C Virus NS4a Antibody [S4-13]

The S4-13 clone produced by Antibodies.com is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that targets the non-structural protein 4a (NS4a) of Hepatitis C Virus, a small membrane-associated cofactor that anchors the NS3 serine protease to the endoplasmic reticulum and is essential for cleavage of the viral polyprotein and for RNA replication. Supplied as a liquid reagent at 100 µg per vial, this unconjugated antibody has been applied in Western blot, immunofluorescence, and ELISA on human-derived samples. For best stability, store frozen at -20 °C in working aliquots and limit freeze-thaw cycles; thaw only what is needed for each experiment. Researchers use this reagent to map NS4a processing intermediates, to characterise NS3-NS4a protease complex assembly, and to detect viral protein expression in transfected cell models used in HCV research.
