Anti-Hepatitis C Virus NS4 Antibody [7B7/5G9]

A Mouse monoclonal antibody (clone 7B7/5G9) of the IgG1 isotype, unconjugated, targeting Hepatitis C Virus NS4 and supplied by Antibodies.com. It is validated for ELISA and WB applications and reacts with human hepatitis C virus.

The immunogen is a synthetic polypeptide in which overlapping sequences of at least 90 residues in length were selected from the immunodominant NS-4 region of Chinese HCV strains. The antibody recognises synthetic NS-4a (residues 1689–1735 on the HCV polyprotein) and recombinant chimeric HCV (60 kDa), and does not recognise the HCV core region or other non-structural regions.

The product is supplied lyophilised from 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.2, and purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. Reconstitution is with double distilled water; concentration is reconstitution dependent. The epitope is Sp2/0-Ag14. The antibody is shipped at 4°C and, upon delivery, should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
