Anti-Hepatitis C Virus NS4 Antibody [497] - Identical to Thermo (MA1-91550)

A mouse monoclonal (497) antibody from Antibodies.com targets Hepatitis C Virus NS4 and is supplied in lyophilised form. It is of the IgM isotype and is unconjugated, with reactivity directed against human hepatitis C virus. The antibody is validated for use in ELISA and WB applications.

The immunogen used was a purified recombinant chimeric HCV polyprotein of 555 amino acid residues. The antibody recognises synthetic NS-4a protein (residues 1689–1735 on HCV polyprotein) and recombinant chimeric HCV polyprotein (60 kDa). It does not cross-react with synthetic recombinant core protein C + envelope protein M (residues 1–142), synthetic core protein C (residues 1–61), recombinant NS-3 protein (residues 1252–1477) or synthetic NS-3 protein (residues 1378–1458).

The reagent is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and is lyophilised from a solution of 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.0. It is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C upon delivery, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Reconstitution should be performed with double distilled water. Concentration is reconstitution dependent.
