Anti-Hepatitis C Virus NS3 Antibody [806]

From Antibodies.com comes a primary antibody supplied as a mouse monoclonal [806] directed against Hepatitis C Virus NS3. The reagent is of the IgG2a isotype, provided unconjugated and in lyophilised form, and is validated for use in ELISA and WB with Human hepatitis C virus.

The antibody was raised against a purified recombinant chimeric HCV polyprotein (555 amino acid residues). It recognises recombinant NS-3 spanning residues 1252-1477 on the HCV polyprotein, synthetic NS-3 (residues 1378-1458 on HCV polyprotein), and the recombinant chimeric HCV polyprotein. It does not recognise recombinant core protein C and envelope protein M (residues 1-142), synthetic core protein C (residues 1-61), or synthetic NS-4a protein (residues 1689-1735). It was generated in the Sp2/0-Ag14 cell line and purified by Protein G affinity chromatography, then lyophilised from a 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline solution, pH 7.0.

Concentration is reconstitution dependent, and the product is reconstituted with double distilled water. It is shipped at 4°C and, on arrival, should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
