Anti-Hepatitis C Virus NS3 Antibody [70-13]

From Antibodies.com, this mouse monoclonal [70-13] antibody is raised against Hepatitis C Virus NS3 and is validated for use in ELISA and WB. It is unconjugated, of the IgG1 isotype, and reacts with human hepatitis C virus. The antibody recognises synthetic HCV NS-3 protein and does not recognise the HCV polyprotein core region or other non-structural regions.

The immunogen is a highly antigenic polypeptide consisting of essential sequences of at least 60 residues in length, selected from genes encoding the NS-3 region of Chinese HCV strains. The antibody is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and supplied lyophilised from a solution of 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.2. It is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. The concentration is reconstitution dependent, and the product should be reconstituted with double distilled water.
