Anti-Hepatitis C Virus NS3 Antibody [5-11]

Offered by Antibodies.com, this Mouse monoclonal antibody of clone [5-11] targets the Hepatitis C Virus NS3 protein. It is of the IgG1 isotype and supplied unconjugated. The reagent is reactive with Human hepatitis C virus and has been validated for ELISA and Western Blotting.

The immunogen is a highly antigenic polypeptide consisting of essential sequences of at least 60 residues in length, selected from genes encoding the NS-3 region of Chinese HCV strains. The antibody specifically recognises synthetic HCV NS-3 protein and does not cross-react with the HCV polyprotein core region or other non-structural regions. Purification is by Protein G affinity chromatography, and the product is supplied lyophilised from 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.2, for reconstitution with double distilled water; concentration is reconstitution dependent. It was raised in Sp2/0-Ag14 cells. The antibody is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon delivery, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
