Anti-Hepatitis C Virus NS3 Antibody [281]

This Mouse monoclonal antibody, supplied by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody, targets the NS3 protein of Hepatitis C Virus. Identified as clone 281, the reagent is of the IgG1 isotype and is provided unconjugated in lyophilised form for reconstitution with double distilled water.

It is validated for ELISA and WB applications and reacts with human hepatitis C virus. The antibody was raised against a purified recombinant chimeric HCV polyprotein of 555 amino acid residues. It recognises recombinant NS-3 (residues 1252-1477 on the HCV polyprotein), synthetic NS-3 (residues 1378-1458), and recombinant chimeric HCV polyprotein at 60 kDa. It does not recognise recombinant core protein C + envelope protein M (residues 1-142), synthetic core protein C (residues 1-61), or synthetic NS-4a protein (residues 1689-1735).

The product is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and lyophilised from 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.2. It is shipped at 4°C, then aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided. Concentration is reconstitution dependent.
