Anti-Hepatitis C Virus NS3 Antibody [24-8]

This Mouse monoclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against Hepatitis C Virus NS3 and is supplied as a lyophilised preparation. The clone, designated 24-8, is of the IgG1 isotype and is unconjugated. It is validated for use in ELISA and Western blot (WB) applications and is reactive with Human hepatitis C virus.

The antibody recognises synthetic HCV NS-3 protein and does not cross-react with the HCV polyprotein core region or other non-structural regions. The immunogen is a highly antigenic polypeptide of at least 60 residues in length selected from genes encoding the NS-3 region of Chinese HCV strains.

The product is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and formulated lyophilised from a solution of 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.2. It is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Reconstitution is carried out with double distilled water, and concentration is reconstitution dependent. The epitope is Sp2/0-Ag14.
