Anti-Hepatitis C Virus NS3 Antibody [133]

This primary antibody from Antibodies.com is a mouse monoclonal antibody (clone 133) raised against Hepatitis C Virus NS3. It is supplied unconjugated in lyophilised form with an IgG1 isotype, and has been validated for use in ELISA and Western Blot (WB) applications. The antibody reacts with Human hepatitis C virus.

Specificity is directed against recombinant NS-3 protein (residues 1252-1477 on the HCV polyprotein) and recombinant chimeric HCV polyprotein (60 kDa), as determined using a purified recombinant chimeric HCV polyprotein (555 amino acid residues) as immunogen. Cross-reactivity studies show that it does not recognise synthetic recombinant core protein C + envelope protein M (residues 1-142 on HCV polyprotein), synthetic core protein C (residues 1-61), synthetic NS-3 protein (residues 1378-1458), or synthetic NS-4a protein (residues 1689-1735).

The antibody is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and lyophilised from a solution of 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.0. It is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon delivery, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Reconstitution is performed with double distilled water; final concentration is reconstitution dependent.
