Anti-Hepatitis C Virus NS3 Antibody [113]

This mouse monoclonal (113) antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against Hepatitis C Virus NS3 and is validated for use in ELISA and western blot applications. It is supplied as an unconjugated IgG1 reagent with reactivity directed at human hepatitis C virus. Specificity has been confirmed against synthetic HCV NS-3 protein, while cross-reactivity testing shows that the antibody does not recognise the HCV polyprotein core region or other non-structural regions.

The immunogen used was a highly antigenic polypeptide of at least 60 residues, drawn from genes encoding the NS-3 region of Chinese HCV strains. The antibody is generated using the Sp2/0-Ag14 hybridoma and purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. It is supplied lyophilised from a 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline solution at pH 7.2, with concentration being reconstitution dependent; for use, the product should be reconstituted with double distilled water.
