Anti-HEN1 / 2 Antibody

HEN1 (HGNC symbol HENMT1) is a small-RNA 2'-O-methyltransferase that modifies the 3' ends of piRNAs and certain microRNAs, protecting them from trimming and 3'-to-5' exonucleolytic decay. The reagent also detects the related HEN2 paralog and is therefore useful for studies of piRNA biogenesis, transposon silencing in the germline, and post-transcriptional gene regulation across developmental stages.
