Anti-HDC Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this polyclonal primary antibody is raised in rabbit against human histidine decarboxylase (HDC) and is supplied at a concentration of 1 mg/mL in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, with no Mg²⁺ or Ca²⁺ present. The immunogen is a recombinant protein corresponding to human HDC, and the antibody has been purified by affinity chromatography using the immunogen, yielding an unconjugated reagent that detects endogenous levels of the total HDC protein (DCHS_HUMAN, EC 4.1.1.22). Validated applications include Western blot and immunohistochemistry on paraffin-embedded tissue, with reactivity confirmed in human, mouse and rat samples, making it well suited to cross-species studies of histamine biosynthesis. The 50 µL aliquot is recommended for storage at –20 °C and is intended for research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
