Anti-HDAC8 (phospho-S39) Antibody

Antibodies.com offers a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against HDAC8 phosphorylated at Serine 39. The reagent is unconjugated and validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), with reactivity confirmed against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human HDAC8 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 39, and the antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of HDAC8 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser39. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a purity greater than 95% as assessed by SDS-PAGE.

Supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approximately pH 7.2, the reagent recognises HDAC8 with reported molecular weights of ~ 42 and 73 kDa.
