Anti-HDAC8 Antibody

This polyclonal antibody is raised in rabbit and targets HDAC8, supplied by Antibodies.com in unconjugated form with an IgG isotype. The reagent is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, and has been knockout-validated. Reactivity is reported against human, mouse, and rat samples.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1-377 of human HDAC8 (NP_060956.1). The antibody is provided as a liquid at lot-specific concentration, with a reported molecular weight of 45 kDa, in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. It has been affinity purified. Recommended starting dilutions are 1:500-1:1,000 for WB, 1:50-1:200 for IHC, and 1:50-1:200 for ICC/IF. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
