Anti-HDAC5 (phospho-S498) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against HDAC5 phosphorylated at Serine 498. It is validated for use in Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF/ICC-IF) applications.

The antibody is unconjugated and supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. It has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, and the purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

Reactivity has been confirmed against Human, Mouse, and Rat samples. The antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of HDAC5 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser498, as the immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human HDAC5 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 498. The target protein HDAC5 has a molecular weight of approximately 121 kDa.
