Anti-HDAC5 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent targets HDAC5, a Class IIa histone deacetylase that regulates chromatin remodeling and transcriptional repression in human cells. Supplied at 100 µl as an unconjugated antibody from Antibodies.com, it is validated for Western blot on whole-cell lysates and immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections. HDAC5 shuttles between the cytoplasm and nucleus and modulates pathways linked to muscle differentiation, cardiac stress responses, and neuronal survival. The antibody detects the endogenous protein at the expected band near 124 kDa under standard reducing SDS-PAGE conditions, supporting studies of epigenetic regulation and signaling networks in human tissue and cultured cell models.
