Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets HDAC4, HDAC5 and HDAC9 and recognises the conserved epitope surrounding amino acids 244–248 / 257–261 / 218–222 (T-A-S-E-P) of the human proteins. It is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in 50 µl of phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and is unconjugated. Validated applications include Western blotting (recommended dilution 1:500–1:1000), immunohistochemistry (1:50–1:100) and immunofluorescence/ICC-IF (1:100–1:200), with reactivity confirmed against human and mouse samples and predicted bands at approximately 140, 124 and 111 kDa. The antibody is purified by affinity chromatography against the epitope-specific peptide and detects endogenous levels of total HDAC4/HDAC5/HDAC9 protein. For stability, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C upon receipt, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided. The reagent is intended for research use only and is not approved for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
