Phosphorylation at these sites drives 14-3-3 binding and cytoplasmic retention of class IIa HDACs, making the reagent useful for tracking signal-dependent nucleo-cytoplasmic shuttling in studies of cardiac hypertrophy, neuronal differentiation, and stress-response pathways.

Validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence on human and mouse samples, the unconjugated antibody is supplied as 100 µl of titratable stock.
