Primary antibodies targeting epigenetic regulators are essential tools for probing chromatin acetylation dynamics and cancer cell signalling. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com recognises HDAC10 (Histone Deacetylase 10), a class IIb zinc-dependent deacetylase that also functions as a polyamine deacetylase (PDAC) with catalytic specificity for N8-acetylspermidine hydrolysis. Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified, the antibody is validated for Western blot detection of the human, mouse, and rat protein, producing a characteristic band near the predicted molecular weight of approximately 70 kDa.

Supplied as a 50 µl vial of liquid formulation, the reagent is recommended for use in standard SDS-PAGE and chemiluminescent Western blot workflows, paired with HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit secondary antibodies for visualisation. Researchers investigating HDAC10 expression in neuroblastoma, gastric carcinoma, non-small cell lung cancer, and cervical cancer models have repeatedly used HDAC10 polyclonal antibodies to correlate tumour protein levels with prognosis, autophagy-mediated drug resistance, and chemoresponse. The antibody is also relevant to studies of KRAS-driven cancer stem-like cell properties and to doxorubicin-sensitisation work, where HDAC10 depletion is known to interrupt autophagic flux and elevate p62/sequestosome-1 accumulation in transformed cells.

Handling guidance: aliquot upon first thaw to limit freeze-thaw cycles and store frozen at -20 °C; the reagent is intended for research use only. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw and protect from prolonged exposure to room temperature to preserve titre.
