Anti-HCN1 Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets the HCN1 ion channel — also known by its synonyms BCNG-1, BCNG1, Brain cyclic nucleotide-gated channel 1 and Potassium/sodium hyperpolarization-activated cyclic nucleotide-gated channel 1 — and is raised against a synthetic peptide derived from the human HCN1 sequence. The antibody is supplied as an unconjugated, affinity-purified IgG preparation at a concentration of approximately 1.0 mg/mL, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. The 50 µl aliquot is shipped on cold packs from the Cambridge (UK) warehouse with a typical lead time of 6–9 business days, and on receipt should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. Validated for Western blotting (WB) on endogenous HCN1 in both human and mouse samples, the polyclonal antibody is generated in rabbit and detects total HCN1 protein, making it well suited to studies of hyperpolarization-activated cyclic nucleotide-gated currents in neuronal and cardiac research contexts.
