The HCK (Hematopoietic Cell Kinase) gene encodes a Src family non-receptor tyrosine kinase that is predominantly expressed in cells of myeloid and B-lymphoid lineages. This polyclonal antibody, raised in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com, is provided at 1 mg/ml in PBS buffer containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as cryoprotectant. The unconjugated reagent has been validated to detect HCK in human, mouse, and rat samples, with reactivity limited to these species in the manufacturer's testing.

Validated applications include Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC). For immunoblotting, the antibody recognizes the HCK protein in whole-cell lysates from hematopoietic sources, supporting studies of myeloid cell signaling, phagocytosis, and B-cell receptor activation. In IHC, it can be applied to formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections, enabling investigation of HCK distribution in hematological malignancies and inflammatory microenvironments. Because the antibody is unconjugated, researchers can pair it with their preferred secondary detection system, whether chromogenic or fluorescent.

Each vial contains 100 µl of antibody solution. Upon receipt, aliquot the reagent to minimize freeze-thaw cycles and store the working stock refrigerated; protect from light during handling to preserve activity across multiple experiments. The antibody is supplied as a single-use vial of unconjugated polyclonal reagent. Investigators in immunology, leukemia biology, and Src kinase signaling research will find this reagent valuable for expression profiling and mechanistic studies.
