Host Cell Factor C1 (HCFC1), also designated HCF-1, is a ubiquitously expressed chromatin-associated transcriptional regulator implicated in cell proliferation, epigenetic control through O-GlcNAc modification, and reactivation of latent herpes simplex virus. This unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised in rabbit and validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry across human, mouse, and rat samples. Supplied as 100 µl in a single-use vial, the antibody supports detection of full-length and proteolytically processed HCFC1 subunits that arise from site-specific cleavage by O-GlcNAc transferase. To preserve reactivity, store at freezer temperatures in working aliquots and limit freeze-thaw cycles. Investigators working on X-linked neurodevelopmental disorders, viral chromatin biology, and cell-cycle progression routinely pair this reagent with chromatin immunoprecipitation and immunofluorescence protocols.
