HCFC1 (Host Cell Factor C1) is a chromatin-associated transcriptional coactivator that recruits histone-modifying complexes and supports cell cycle progression, herpesvirus gene activation, and epigenetic regulation. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL vial and recognizes endogenous full-length HCFC1 protein in human and mouse samples. The immunogen is recombinant human HCFC1, and the antibody is affinity purified from rabbit serum.
Validated for western blot workflows, this primary antibody supports immunoblotting of cell lysates and tissue extracts, including HEK-293 mammalian cell lines. As a polyclonal reagent, it provides multi-epitope coverage of HCFC1, including the heterogeneous high-molecular-weight isoforms (120-260 kDa) generated by OGT-mediated proteolytic cleavage. Researchers can pair it with HRP-, fluorophore-, or biotin-conjugated secondary antibodies to enable diverse readout platforms.
Store refrigerated at 4°C, aliquot upon arrival to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and use only for research applications.
