Raised in rabbit against the HCCA2 target, this unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as a 100 µl liquid stock at 1 mg/ml in PBS supplemented with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, ready for direct use in western blot workflows. Host: Rabbit. Clonality: Polyclonal. Conjugate: Unconjugated. Target: HCCA2.

HCCA2 (also known as MOB kinase activator 1, MOB1) is a core component of the Hippo tumor suppressor pathway, where it partners with MST1/2 and LATS1/2 kinases to drive phosphorylation of YAP/TAZ and control contact inhibition, organ size, and apoptotic signaling. The antibody detects endogenous HCCA2 in human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting translational studies into hepatocellular carcinoma, liver regeneration, and broader Hippo-pathway regulation in vitro.

Working-stock handling: dilute into standard Tris- or PBS-based blocking/diluent solutions and store aliquots refrigerated; the 50% glycerol cryoprotectant helps limit freeze-thaw damage to the immunoglobulin. Sodium azide removal is unnecessary for most WB applications but should be omitted if buffers will be used in live-cell or conjugation steps downstream. Intended for research use only.
