The Antibodies.com Anti-HBEGF Antibody [4G10] is a biotinylated mouse monoclonal IgG1 specific for human heparin-binding EGF-like growth factor, supplied as 50 ug of liquid formulation suitable for direct streptavidin-based detection in antibody labeling workflows.

Clone 4G10 has been validated for Western blot, immunoprecipitation, and immunofluorescence applications. HBEGF, also known as the diphtheria toxin receptor, is produced as both a membrane-anchored ligand and a soluble paracrine mitogen that signals through EGFR (ErbB1) and ErbB4, with research roles in epithelial repair, smooth muscle proliferation, and vascular remodeling.

Recommended working concentrations are 1-2 ug/mL for Western blot and 2-5 ug/mL for immunofluorescence staining of fixed cells. Aliquot upon receipt and store at -20 degrees C; protect from light and limit freeze-thaw cycles to preserve biotin reporter activity. For research use only.
