Anti-HBA2 Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this is a rabbit polyclonal antibody directed against Hemoglobin subunit alpha (HBA2). The unconjugated IgG reagent is validated for Western blot and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1–142 of human HBA2 (NP_000508.1). The antibody is affinity purified and supplied in liquid form in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. The target protein has a reported molecular weight of 13 kDa. Recommended dilutions are 1:500–1:2,000 for Western blot and 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF.

For storage, the product is shipped at 4°C; on arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
