Anti-HAVCR2 Antibody

HAVCR2, also known as TIM-3 (T-cell immunoglobulin and mucin domain-3), is a co-inhibitory immune checkpoint receptor expressed on interferon-γ-producing T helper 1 cells, CD8+ cytotoxic T lymphocytes, FoxP3+ regulatory T cells, and certain innate immune populations including macrophages, monocytes, and dendritic cells. Engagement of TIM-3 by galectin-9, phosphatidylserine, or CEACAM1 contributes to T cell exhaustion in chronic viral infection and within the tumor microenvironment, which is why HAVCR2 has become a focal target in immuno-oncology, combination checkpoint blockade studies, and investigations of dysfunctional tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes.

The antibody is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples and is intended for research use only in studies of immune checkpoint biology, T cell exhaustion phenotypes, and TIM-3 expression patterns across disease-relevant tissues.
