HAT1 (Histone Acetyltransferase 1) is a type B acetyltransferase that deposits acetyl groups onto newly synthesized histone H4 (notably at lysines 5 and 12) during replication-coupled chromatin assembly. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against the human HAT1 protein and validated for Western blot detection, supplied as a 100 µL liquid aliquot of IgG-class serum intended for research use only.
For routine handling, store the vial at -20°C in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw degradation. Working dilutions for blotting should be optimized empirically against a positive-control lysate such as HeLa or HEK293 whole-cell extract and revealed with an anti-rabbit IgG secondary reagent. The product supports studies probing chromatin dynamics, DNA replication-coupled histone deposition, and HAT1's reported roles in cancer cell proliferation and histone crosstalk, enabling expression profiling in human cell lines, tumor-derived samples, and tissue lysates.
