HAT1 (Histone Acetyltransferase 1) is a type B cytoplasmic acetyltransferase that acetylates newly synthesized histones H3 and H4 before their deposition onto replicating DNA. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against human HAT1 and validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation, and chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) workflows. The reagent cross-reacts with HAT1 from human, mouse, and rat samples, enabling comparative studies of chromatin regulation, nucleosome assembly, and DNA damage response pathways.
Supplied as 50 µl of polyclonal sera, the antibody supports investigations into histone modification cascades, telomere silencing, and the contribution of HAT1 to genome stability and gene expression control in eukaryotic cells, making it a useful tool for chromatin biology, epigenetics, and cell cycle research laboratories.
