Raised in rabbit, this polyclonal antiserum from Antibodies.com specifically recognizes HAT1, a type B histone acetyltransferase responsible for acetylating newly synthesized histone H4 at lysines 5 and 12 during chromatin assembly, DNA replication, and damage repair. Validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation, and chromatin immunoprecipitation, the unconjugated reagent is supplied as 100 µl and reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples. It is intended for research use only in studies of epigenetics, gene regulation, and chromatin biology.
