Anti-HAT1 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the human HAT1 protein, this polyclonal antibody detects histone acetyltransferase 1, a type B cytoplasmic enzyme that acetylates newly synthesized histones H3 and H4 and supports chromatin assembly and DNA replication-coupled nucleosome deposition. Researchers use it to probe endogenous HAT1 levels and modification states across whole-cell lysates, tissue sections, and chromatin preparations, in studies of histone modification dynamics, DNA damage response, and chromatin biology.

Validated for Western blot, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, immunoprecipitation, and chromatin immunoprecipitation, the reagent cross-reacts with HAT1 from human, mouse, and rat samples. It is supplied as a 100 µl aliquot at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% Sodium Azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant, and is unconjugated, allowing flexible secondary antibody pairing for colorimetric, fluorescent, or chemiluminescent detection.
