TRA54 is a rat monoclonal IgM antibody recognizing a cell-surface glycoprotein antigen restricted to haploid male germ cells. The target first appears on step 8-9 spermatids in mouse testis and persists on mature spermatozoa, marking the post-meiotic phase of spermatogenesis.
