HADHA is the alpha subunit of the mitochondrial trifunctional enzyme complex that catalyzes the second and third steps of long-chain fatty acid beta-oxidation. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets the HADHA protein for detection in western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows across human, mouse, and rat samples.

Researchers studying mitochondrial lipid metabolism, inborn errors of beta-oxidation such as LCHAD deficiency, and metabolic reprogramming in cancer and muscle physiology use HADHA antibodies to assess subunit expression, mitochondrial mass, and pathway activity. The polyclonal format provides recognition of multiple epitopes along the HADHA sequence, supporting reproducible detection in denatured lysates and native-tissue preparations.

Each vial contains 50 µL of antibody stock. For repeated applications, aliquot upon arrival and store at -20 °C to preserve activity through multiple freeze-thaw cycles. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw of the working stock; short-term storage at 4 °C is acceptable for active use. The unconjugated format allows flexible pairing with custom secondary labels and amplification chemistries suited to individual experimental designs.
