Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against hydroxyacyl-CoA dehydrogenase (HADH) and is supplied as an unconjugated, affinity-purified antiserum at a working concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µl volume. The immunogen is a recombinant human HADH protein, and the resulting antibody specifically detects the endogenous total HADH protein in biological samples. It is validated for Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications and has been verified to cross-react with Human, Mouse and Rat specimens, making it a versatile choice for comparative studies across standard laboratory models. The host species is Rabbit and the clonality is Polyclonal, ensuring a broad epitope coverage that increases the likelihood of detecting the target even when expression is low or partially degraded. The formulation is provided in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. For routine handling the product is shipped at 4 °C; upon arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with care taken to avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles in order to preserve antibody activity over time. This reagent is intended for research use only and is not approved for diagnostic or therapeutic applications. When used under the recommended storage and assay conditions, the Antibodies.com anti-HADH polyclonal antibody provides a reliable tool for investigators studying fatty acid β-oxidation, mitochondrial metabolic disorders and related pathways in cell and tissue lysates.
