Targeting the cytotoxin-associated gene A (CagA) protein of Helicobacter pylori, this unconjugated mouse monoclonal IgG1 primary antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied as 100 µg of lyophilised material in a single vial. The [3C10] clone is validated for ELISA-based detection of CagA and is reactive with human samples.

CagA is a major H. pylori virulence factor translocated into gastric epithelial cells through the bacterium's Type IV secretion system. Once inside the host cell, EPIYA repeat motifs in CagA become tyrosine-phosphorylated and perturb intracellular signalling cascades linked to gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, and gastric adenocarcinoma. Antibodies specific to CagA are widely used to differentiate cagA-positive from cagA-negative H. pylori isolates and to characterise strain diversity in clinical and epidemiological studies.

With its IgG1 isotype and mouse host, this reagent is compatible with commonly used anti-mouse secondary antibodies and standard ELISA detection workflows. The lyophilised format allows flexible reconstitution at the working concentration required for each assay; aliquot after reconstitution and freeze for long-term storage to limit freeze-thaw exposure.

Store the vial refrigerated and protected from light prior to first use. Refer to the accompanying data sheet for reconstitution buffer and working dilution guidance.
