Granzyme A (GZMA) is a serine protease expressed in the lytic granules of cytotoxic T lymphocytes and natural killer cells, where it contributes to caspase-independent apoptosis through the perforin–granzyme pathway. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against human GZMA and is validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry applications on human samples.

Supplied as a 100 µl vial at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the reagent offers flexibility for standard immunoblotting and chromogenic tissue staining protocols. Researchers studying tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes, immune checkpoint mechanisms, and viral or transplant rejection models use anti-GZMA reagents to identify activated CD8+ effector T cells and NK cells in fixed tissue sections and cell lysates.

The polyclonal format increases the likelihood of recognizing multiple epitopes on the mature GZMA protein, which can be advantageous when probing cleaved or processed forms of the enzyme. Aliquot upon receipt to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and store refrigerated in the dark to preserve binding activity across repeated experiments.
