Anti-GYS1 Antibody

Offered through Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal reagent specifically recognizes glycogen synthase 1 (GYS1) and is supplied as a 50 µL aliquot at a working concentration of 1.0 mg/mL. The antibody is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. Raised in a rabbit host against recombinant human GYS1 protein and subsequently purified by antigen-affinity chromatography, the unconjugated polyclonal preparation detects endogenous levels of total GYS1. It has been validated for Western blotting, immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and immunohistochemistry (IHC), with recommended dilutions of 1:500–1:2,000 for Western blot, 1:50–1:100 for immunofluorescence, and approximately 1:200 for IHC on paraffin-embedded sections. The reagent cross-reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples, and demonstrated staining has been verified on paraffin-embedded human stomach cancer tissue. The product is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon receipt and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve antibody integrity.
