Anti-GUK1 Antibody

Raised in a rabbit host and supplied as an unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com, this antibody targets Guanylate Kinase 1 (GUK1), an enzyme that catalyzes the Mg2+-dependent conversion of GMP and ATP into GDP and ADP. The 100 µL preparation is validated for use in Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows against the human GUK1 protein.

Guanylate kinase participates in guanine nucleotide recycling and supports cGMP-mediated signaling, particularly in tissues such as the retina where rapid GDP/GTP turnover is needed for visual phototransduction.
